Happoone Winter Resort (白馬八方尾根スキー場) is one of the best and largest ski resort in Japan. It is located in Hakuba, Nagano Prefecture. Because it has great powder snow and huge area, Nagano Olympic in 1998 was held at this place. There are 14 different courses and the longest course is about 8km long. The altitude difference is 1071m and total size is about 200ha. The most of the courses are for the intermediate and expert people. The top of Happoone is 1831m from the sea level and has a great panorama view of Kita-Alps and northern Nagano.
