Use the north exit of Tenruji, that leads to the Bamboo Grove Walk that is the most famous Bamboo walk in the world.

At the end, you can take a bus to back to Kyoto Station. If you have extra time, walk east to Daikakuji Temple. Daikakuji is also one of the best temple in Kyoto. It has a beautiful gardens as well. This temple has many buildings that removed from the imperial palace because it was used to be the 2nd imperial palace of Emperor Saga.
