Aomori Bank (青森銀行記念館) is one of the western style buildings of Hirosaki. It was the first bank of Aomori and 59th bank in Japan. This house was designed by Sakichi Horie the famous architecture in Meiji era.

Former the 59th Bank Main Office Main building: The construction of 59th Bank, Ltd. was completed in 1904, planned and constructed by Horie Sakichi, the master carpenter at that time. It is a fire resisting structure with plastered wall and plaster wall sliding doors on the window as well. Among the architectures built in the same period remaining in provincial small cities in Japan, its building materials are outstanding. An excellent Japanese and Western hybrid Meiji architecture.
