The residence of Ancient Japan
Kodai Pond (古代沼) is the site of ancient Japan located in Akita city, Akita Prefecture. This is the outer part of the center of Akita castle. Akita castle was constructed in the early 8th century to govern the northern region. Around this pond, there are many ruins of the residence of ancient Japan. There are the restored bathrooms, wells, and pit of the house.
