Sanada-an is a Sanada Yukimura related temple located in Wakayama. It was built on the house of Sanada Yukimura and his father. They stayed this place after the battle of Sekigahara. And waited for the revenge to Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Jisonin
Jisonin is Shingon Buddhism Temple located in Kudoyama, Wakayama Pref. It was established by Priest Kukai in 816 for the entrance of Koyasan. Kukai's mother visited here and showed highly respect to the main statues. There is the mausoleum of Kukai's mother. Koyasan was highly restricted for women. Only man can allow to enter. So, Jisonin was the temple for women to worship Koyasan. Even today, Jisonin is highly respected for women as women's Koyasan. It is located as the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Niu Kanshobu Shrine
Niu Kanshobu Shrine is one of the old shrine located in Wakayama. It was established by Priest Kukai in 816 as the entrance of Koyasan. The god of this shrine led Priest Kukai to Mt. Koya and introduce the sacred place. Priest Kukai highly appreciated the god and built a shrine here. It is designated as UNESCO World Heritage site.
Syoriji Temple
Syoriji Temple is a Shingon Buddhism Temple established by Priest Kukai. It was established in 9th century.
People who worship Koyasan used to stay at this temple.
