BUilt in late Edo period. Fujii family was the samurai of 250 koku. It was middle high class of Samurai.
Maizuru Park (まいづる公園) is open museum of Samurai House located in Murakami, Niigata. There are three remaining Samurai Houses. This park was constructed for the memorial of current crown prince Naruhito and Masako's wedding. There is a house of Takaoka family that is belong to princess Masako. There are two more Samurai Houses are displayed in this park.
