ShibutamiJinjo Elementary School (渋民尋常小学校) is the old school building located in Morioka, Iwate. It is 2 stories small buildings with 3 classrooms. It was constructed in 1884 and used until 1967. Ishikawa Takuboku studied and also taught at this school.

Old Shibutami Jinjo Elementary School is the oldest remaining old school in Iwate Prefecture. It was constructed in 1884 at Atago Shrine. This school had been used until 1967. Because it is the related spot of Ishikawa Takuboku, instead of abandoned this building, people made a memorial museum of Ishikawa Takuboku.
