... is the main feature of Tsuyama. It is a ruin of hilltop castle which is built in the early Sengoku period (1441 to 1444). Current structure was designed by Mori Tadamasa in 1603. There are about 1,000 Sakura in this castle. In the early April, Sakura bloom and many people enjoy Hanami party. It is also very popular for its Azalea flowers.
Katsumata Town
... is the preserved district for historical scenery. It is located east side of Tsuyama castle. There are many traditional houses in this area.
