Waki Honjin Kishiro House (脇本陣木代邸) is the remaining Hotels on Izumo Road located in Shinjo Village, Oakayama pref. It was used for Daimyo Parade during Edo period. Mostly, it was used by Daimyo and his samurai of Matsue Domain. Very important Samurai of Daimyo, stayed at this hotel. All the structure remains in original conditions, and you can enjoy the house of Edo period. There is a tea cafe, called Sakura Chaya, backside of the house, and you can also enjoy local food of Shinjo.

There is a parking and restroom.
Open: 11:00 to 15:00.
Close on Winter.
Sakurachaya closes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Waki Honjin Kishiro House

Kishiro House was used as Waki Honjin on Izumo Road. Shinjo was post town which connect Izumo and Sanyodo Road. It was entitled "Mukoubabaya." The house was built in late Edo period. It has 3 rows, 6 rooms. At the lavatory and bathroom, there are hunger for Katana. It remains great architecture of late Edo buildings.

Sakurachaya offers great local food.
