Samurai School
Yorokan Samurai School (津和野藩校養老館) is one of the remaining Samurai School buildings located in Tsuwano, Shimane Prefecture. It was established in 1786 by the 8th lord of Tsuwano Castle. The gate is also the building of the school. The right side is for spear training and the left side is for sword fighting. There is a storage for the books. There was also another building for Jujutsu, Iai, and literature. Many famous novelists, Mori Ogai studied here. It was closed in 1872.
