Fukuoka (福岡) prefecture is the economic center of Kyushu Island. It is located northern Kyushu. Because it is very close to Korea and China, it is considered as the gateway to the Asia. Fukuoka is also the most populated Prefecture in Kyushu. It was very important place since ancient Japan, so there are many historical sites such as Dazaifu.
