Amanohashidate, liteary means the bridge in the sky (天橋立), is one of the three scenic views of Japan, alongside Matsushima in Miyagi and Miyajima in Hiroshima, and is famous as a cultural and historic site, earning its designation as a special place of scenic beauty and a special historic site. There are about 8,000 pine trees on this beach.

Amanohashidate is one of the three scenic views of Japan, alongside Matsushima in Miyagi and Miyajima in Hiroshima, and is famous as a cultural and historic site, earning its designation as a special place of scenic beauty and a special historic site.

Like this poem, written by Koshikibu-no-Naishi, Amanohashidate has been mentioned in many poems in the Ogura Anthology of one hundred Tanka Poems by One Hundred Poets, and is also part of the designated Tango Amanohashidate Oeyama Quasi-National Park.
The landscape and scenery surrounding Amanohashidate has also influenced many asspects of culture, including the poems of Hiroshi Yosano and Akiko, as well as paintings, such as the national treasure "Amanohashidate Scene" by Sesshu.

Isoshimizu Spring
It is a spring located in the middle of Amanohasidate. Even it is located between bays, this spring dosenot contains salt. It is chosen as the 100 best Japanese water. However, you cannot drink this water.
