Gujo Odori in Aoyama (郡上おどりin青山) is one of the exciting Bon Odori Matsuri in Tokyo. It is held in the end of Aoyama, Tokyo. Gujo Odori is very famous Bon Odori of Gifu prefecture. There are 10 kinds of Bon Odori in Gujo, and you can enjoy dancing them at this Matsuri. Thousands of people join and enjoy Gujo Odori Dance in Aoyama. Also, it has shops that sales the local foods and products from Gujo.

Gujo Odori in Aoyama

Gujo Odori is one of three major folk dances in Japan. In Gujo City in Gifu, there are all night Bon Odori Matsuri in the middle of August.

Gujo Odori dance with the real music and singer playing songs. Dancers must wear Geta, wooden zori, to assist the music. Dance is very simple. Therefore, the beginners can join the dancing circle very easily.
