It is the oldest temple street in Yokohama. There are about 130 shops. It is the most powerful down town shopping district in Yokohama.
Gumoji Temple
Gumyo is the oldest temple in Yokohama and one of the oldest temples in Kango region. It was established in 737 by priest Gyoki. These statues of this Nio Gate was made in late 13th century. The gate was also constructed in Edo period.
Fukamon is another gate of this temple. It was constructed in 1411. It is the oldest gate existed in Yokohama, today.
The main hall enshrines Kannon Statue.
