Irimajiri House (入交家住宅) is one of the samurai house located in Iga, Mie Prefecture. It was constructed around the end of 18th century. It is a typical Nagaya Style Samurai House. It has also the Nagaya Gate which shows the rank of higher Samurai.

There are parking and restroom.
Admission: 200 for Adult, 150 yen for Over high school, 100 yen for under high.
There is a group discount.
Open: 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30)
Closed: Tuesday. 12/29 to 1/3

Irimajiri House

In Edo period. Most of the Samurai House was owned by the castle lord and rented to his samurai.

Irimajiri House is one of the Samurai House located in Iga. Iga is known as the city of Ninja, but also it is a castle town. Irimajiri Family was the samurai of the castle lord of Iga, Todo Takatora. Irimajiri family was given this house around the end of 18th century.

This house has Shikidai Genkan (the main entrance), the guest room, tea room, rooms for families, kitchen and bath room. From the guest room, you can see beautiful garden.

There is a display area that has Samurai amrors and other historical materials.
