Mt. Issaikyo (一切経山) is an active volcano located on the northern Fukushima Prefecture. The altitude is 1,949m from the sea level. It is one of the popular hiking spots in Fukushima. From the top of the mountain, you can see a beautiful pond called Goshikinuma pond, a.k.a. Witch's eye. Also, it has a beautiful view of all Fukushima and Yamagata mountains. Mt. Azuma Small Fuji is beautiful.
Goshikinuma Pond, a.k.a. Witch's Eye (五色沼・魔女の瞳), is a pond of volcanic mouth located in Fukushima prefecture. It has a beautiful cobalt blue water and it changes its color by the sun. The size of the pond is about 300m in diameter. It is the main feature of Mt. Issaikyo hiking.
Kamanuma Pond (鎌沼) is one of the beautiful pond located in Fukushima Prefecture. It is one of the ponds at Mt. Issaikyo. There is a beautiful marsh around the pond.
