Jinnai Town of Tondabayashi (富田林寺内町) is popular spot with many traditional houses located in southern Osaka. It is one of the best spot to walk around with Kimono. There are about 40 traditional houses that were built in Edo period. It is a great Kyoto style town in Osaka.

Tourist Info.
There is parking and restroom.
Recommend to park at Tondabayashi city hall.
restroom at Jinnaimachi visiter's ceter.
You can get a map as well.
Note: don't enter the house. They are still in use.
So, be quiet.

Access
0. at Sakai Higashi Station.
1. use Nankai Koya Line to Kawachi Nagano.
2. use Kintetsu Nagano Line to Tondabayashi.
3. walk south.

Jinnai Town of Tondabayashi

Jinnai Town is one of registered "Preserved Area with Important Traditional Houses." There are about 40 traditional houses. All of them are constructed in Edo period, and preserved in a great condition.

It was used to be a temple town of Koseji temple during Sengoku period. In Edo period, it became the merchant town.

Today, it is one of the best place to walk around with Kimono.

Sugiyama House
Designated as the important cultural asset and built in 17th century.
Open: 10:00 to 17:00 (16:00 in winter)
Close on Monday.
Admission: 400 yen for adult, 200 for under 15.

Note: don't enter the house. Be quiet because people live there.
