Kanjosan Castle

Kanjosan Caslte is the ruins of the mountain castles located in Aioi, Hyogo Prefecture. It is also known Uryu Castle.

In 1336, Akamatu clan stayed in this castle and defeated the invasion of Nitta Yoshisada. Ashikaga Takauji sent him thank you letter. Kanjo means thank you letter.

It remains the baileys in great condition. At the top bailey, there are stone walls and all the structures of the castle are preserved well.
