Kazura Bridge of Iya(祖谷の蔓橋) is one of the most popular tourist spots in Tokushima. It is a suspension bridge made from vines and wood. It is about 45m long and 2m wide and 14m high from the river. Kazura Bridge is made by the traditional way since 12th century.

There is parking and restroom.
Admission: 500 yen.
Time: From Sunrise to Sunset.
No highheel shoes.

Kazura Bridge of Iya

Kazurabashi is a traditional suspention bridge located Iya, Tokushima Prefecture. Legend said, right after Genpei War in late 12th century, all the fallen Hike worriers built this bridge that is very easy to cut down just in case Genji worriers attacked them. The way of building this bridge is the same for over 800 years. It is very exciting bridge to walk over.
