Kusano House (草野家住宅) is the old Samurai House located Hita, Oita. It was mainly constructed in the middle of 18th century.Kusano House is registered as the national important cultural asset.It takes design to harmonize the open garden and tea room. Kusano Family was used be the one of lord of Oita. One Kusano survived through Sengoku Era and build this house in 1641.

There is parking and restroom.
Admission: 500 yen for adult, under elementary school free. Plus 50 yen duing Hina doll festival.Junior high for 250 yen.
There is a group discount.
Time: 10:00 to 16:30
CLosed on Thursday. Open during Hina Doll Festival.

Kusano House

Kusano Family was moved in 1641 at Mameda Town. They open the candal shop and Sake brewery. They also They also became a bank and finiancial service for all Kyushu Daimyo and helped development of this town.

The house was registered as the national important cultural asset. The oldest building was constructed in 1725.

There many gardens in this house. The innner garden is designed to harmonized to all other rooms surrounding this garden.
