Matsuda Sakura Festival(まつだ桜まつり) is a Cherry Blossom festival held in Nishihirahatake Park located in Matsuda, Kanagawa Prefecture. There are 260 Kawazu Sakura that bloom in the middle of February. At the same time, field mustard will bloom on the ground. It has also a great view of Mt. Fuji and Sagami Bay. There are many food stands and shops open during the festival. During the festival, there is a special shuttle bus from parking to the station and the park.

Matsuda Sakura Festival
Matsuda Sakura Festival is known as one of early Cherry Blossom spots located in eastern Kanagawa Prefecture. It is held at Nishihirahatake Park. There are about 260 Kawazu Sakura planted in this park. Kawazu Sakura blooms in the middle of February to the early March.

During the festival, there are many food stands that you can enjoy great local food. Also, in the park, there is a locomotive that runs through the Sakura Tunnel.

There is lit-up Sakura at night from 17:00 to 21:00.
