Niitsu Oil Field (新津油田) is one of the ruins of Japanese Oil Fields located in Niigata, Niigata Prefecture. There are many wells, pumping up systems and facilities are remaining here that you can study the Japanese oil mining system. Niitsu Oil Field appears in the Japanese myth, and the history begins in 668 and end at 1980. There is a museum of petroleum in this site.

There are parking and restroom.

1. use JR Shinetsu Line to Yashiroda station.
2. walk east.
