Senshu Matsuo Temple (泉州・松尾寺) is one of the oldest temple in Osaka Pref. It was established in 672. It is Tendai Buddhism Temple that has been respected long time. It was burnt down by Nobunaga and rebuilt by Toyotomi Hideyori. The main hall was constructed in 1602 and the Sanmon Gate was constructed in 1709. It is also known as the temple of Autumn Leaves in Osaka. Around the end of November, it has a beautiful Autumn Leaves.

Senshu Matsuo Temple
Matsuo Temple is Tendai Buddhism Temple located in Izumi, Osaka Prefecture. It was estalished in 672 and entitled by Emperor Myonin in the early 9th century. Around the Muromachi period, 14th century, this temple flourished widely. However, during Sengoku period, Oda Nobunaga attacked this temple and burnt down.

Later, Toyotomi Hideyori, the son of Hideyoshi donated to reconstruct many building. the main hall was reconstructed in 1602 by him.

The Sanmon Gate is constructed in 1709.
