Shimizu Spring (清水の湧口, shimizu no wakiguchi) is located western Rikuzentakata. This spring is chosen as one of 20 best water of Iwate prefecture. It springs about 17,000, 000 litter of water every day. The temperature of the water is very warm through the year.

The water is drinkable but there is no disposal process. So, take your own responsibility.
Keep the water clean because it is also drinking water for the people around.
