Taimen Stones (対面石) are located in Shimizu town, Shizuoka prefecture. After the battle of Fujigawa in 1180, Legend said, Kamakura Shogun Yoritomo and his brother meet here 1st time.

In 1180, Minamoto no Yoritomo, the first Shogun of Kamakura, settled his headquarter at Yawata Shrine here.
