Travel Information

Mt. Odake (王岳トレッキング) is one of the best viewpoints of Mt. Fuji. Mt. Odake is 1623m tall mountain with a great view of north side of Mt. Fuji, Aokigahara Forest and Lake Saiko. The route takes about 5 hours. Once you reach the roof point, you can see Mt. Fuji all the time. On the other side of the Mt. Fuji, you can also see the Kofu Vasin, Minami Alps and Yatsugatake mountains.

The route takes about 5 hours.
For the intermediate level.
Use the parking at Iyashinosato Nenba.

Trekking at Mt. Odake

Level: Intermediate people, not Kids friendly.

Mt. Odake is one of 100 best mountains of Yamanashi Prefecture. It is located in north side of Mt. Fuji. Its view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Saiko is breathtaking. The route is very simple, but it has many steep spots. Once you reach the roof route, you will have a great view of Mt. Fuji.

Start at the parking of Saiko Iyashinosato Nenba.
Walk to Kagikaketoge
Kagikaketoge Mountainpass. 1hr. 30min.
Mt. Odake 1hr. 30min.
Back to Parking 1 hr.
