Azalea at Tsutujigaoka Park (躑躅ヶ岡公園のツツジ) is the largest azalea park in Japan. It is located in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture. There are 50 kinds 10,000 Azalea Trees that bloom around the end of April to early May. in this park. This Azalea park has the history of over 500 years created by the castle lord of Tateyama Domain. It is registered as the national scenic beauty.

There is parking and restroom.
Admission: 620 yen for adult, free for under junior high.
There is a group disscount.
Pet must has their stroller or contains in a bag.
Time: 10:00 to 16:00
Season: Middle of Apr. to the middle of May.

0. at Isezaki Station.
1. use Tobu Isesaki Line to Tatebayashi Station.
2. walk or use local bus.

Tsutsujigaoka Park is the largest Azalea park locatedin Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture. This park was designed by the lord of Tatebayashi domain during the edoperiod. Therefore, this park has been known as the popular Azalea spot for over 500 years.
