The Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel (地底探検ミュージアム 龍Q館 ) is located in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture. It is large underground discharge channels provide safety for people living in the Metropolitan Area. It is also known as the huge underground labyrinth.
The vertical Pipe to draw the water from four small rivers to the Edo River. The pipe is 70m tall and 30m diameter. The pressure-adjusting water tank, also known as the underground labyrinth. There is a tour to visit both of them.

Tokyo Flood-Control Tunnels
The Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel is one of the world's largest underground discharge channels, which takes water overflow underground from small- to mid-size rivers to Edo River through a 6.3km long tunnel that runs 50m below ground. Construction was started in March 1993 utilizing world-class Japanese civil engineering technologies. After a construction period of 13 years, in June 2006 it became possible to direct water from the Oootoshifurutone River into the Edo River.
