Uonuma Meguro House (魚沼目黒邸) is one of the traditional house located in Uonuma, Niigata Prefecture. It was constructed in 1797. Meguro Family was used to be Samurai of Ashina clan. In Edo period, they became farmer. This house presents the structure of house heavy snow area. There is a beautiful Japanese garden. Because of its historical value, Meguro House is desiginated as the national important historical assets.
