Yatsugatake Horse Show happens at the end of July at Yamanashi Horse Riding Arena, Hokuto, Yamanashi Prefecture. For the horse shows, there are western style horse riding that shows many techniques of horse riding. The main feature of this event is the fire performance. Their horses jump into the fire rings that is very unique because horses usually scare fire.

Also, the traditional horse drama performance are also very beautiful. It shows Japanese traditional horse riding techniques including horse back archery.

There are many food stands open so that you can eat food here.
