Tama Ome 7 Lucky Gods (多摩・青梅七福神) is one of the very popular tourism during the early January. Seven Lucky Gods, Shichifukujin in Japanese, is traveling 7 different temples and shrines to worship 7 gods of Lucky and correct the power of lucks. In Ome 7 lucky gods touring, you can correct not only Goshuin, but also you can correct small 7 lucky gods dolls.

Tama Ome 7 Lucky Gods
Tama Ome Shichifukujin is the popular tourism during the early January. However, not only January, but you can try this Shichifukujin tour all through the year. The tour takes almost half day to visit all 7 different temples that enshrine 7 lucky gods. You can correct Goshuin on the special board or correct mini dolls of 7 lucky gods.

Enmeiji Temple established in 1370: enshrines Daikokuten.
Daikokuten has a hammer with the right hand, and a lucky bag on left hand. Then, he stands on two straw rice bags. He is the combination gods of Indian god and Japanese god.

Sokenji Temple established in 1450: enshrines Bisyamonten.
Bisyamonten is the Indian God of War. It is also known as Tamonten in Japan. He is not only the god of war, but also the god of treasure and wealth. He wears yellow armor, a pagoda on the left hand and a spear on right hand. He is stepping on the evil with his angry face.

Gyokusenji Temple established in 1317: enshrines Benzaiten.
Benzaiten is the only Goddess in 7 Lucky Gods. She was originally an Indian Goddess. Because she carries a guitar, people think she is the god of entertainment. However, she is actually a god of water. Benten Shrine in Japan always located near water.

Seihoin Temple: enshrines Ebisu-son.
Ebisi is the lucky god with a fishing pole on right hand, and red bream on left hands. Ebisu is the only Japanese God in 7 Lucky Gods.

Jizoin Temple established in the late 15th century: Enshrines Hotei-son.
Hotei is Zen priest who existed in China during the 10th century. His real name is Kaishi.
Hotei has a huge belly and great smile. He has a fan called Bashosen and like Daikoku, he has a lucky bag.

Myobakuin Temple established in 1568: enshrines Fukurokuju.
Fukurokuju is Laozi in China. His name is made from, Fuku of Lucky, Roku of wealth, Ju of eternal life. He has long head, long beard, stuff and his partner crane.

Monsyuin Temple established in the early 16th century: enshrines Jurojin.
Jurojin is the founder of Taoism. It's the wizard who turned out from Laozi. He wears a cute cap, and has long stuff and a deer as the partner.
