Homei 48 falls (鳳鳴四十八滝) is a group of waterfalls located in western Sendai, Miyagi prefecture. There is an observatory where you can see some of the falls. Homei means the cry of Phoenix because the sound of the falls are just like the cry of Phoenix. It is a great view during green leaves in summer and Koyo in Autumn.
