Hakone Kuzuryu Shrine Tsukinamisai is one of the popular Shinto ceremonies of Hakone Kuzuryu Shrine. Every 13th of a month, it's held at the main shrine of Kuzuryu Shrine located nearby Lake Ashi. This ceremony shows the respect of the white dragon that is the god of Lake Ashi and people gain the power of the dragon.

At the pier of Motohakone, there is the reception for the application. You fill out the application and give it to the priest at the reception with 2000 JPY. You will have the trading tickets for the water and the amulet after the ceremony. Also, you can get the card of the month. If you collect all cards of all 12 months, you can receive the special worship during the ceremony.

The ceremony starts at 10:00 a.m. and finishes around 11:00 a.m. You can write your wish on the application and the priests of the shrine will read and pray during the ceremony. Then, people provide the food for the white dragon. After the ceremony, you will receive the special water and the amulet at Hakone Shrine.
