Monk Hell(坊主地獄) is one of Onsen Hell located in Beppu, Oita Prefecture. Extremely hot mud with Onsen water is coming out from underground. The bubble of the mud look like the bowled head of Monk. There was temple in this place, but it was exploded by the eruption in 1498.

Admission: 400yen for adult, 200yen for kids.
