Futago Ponds (双子池) are main feature of Mt. Futago trekking. There are two ponds, the mail pond and the female pond. Because the water is so pure and quiet, it mirrors the mountains and forest around.

Need a car.
Drive route 152 to Lake Shirakaba. Change to route 40 to Shirakaba Ski resort.
Change to Ogahara Mountain Pass.
